Reduce no-shows

A booked meeting only counts if they show up.

How to do it

  1. 1

    Aim small.

Ask "Tuesday at 2, or is 3 better?" Never "what does next month look like?"

  2. 2

Send the invite while they're on the phone.

Ask them to accept it now so it's on their calendar.

  3. 3

    Read the email back.

A typo in the invite is a silent no-show.

  4. 4

    Let them cancel out loud.

"If something comes up, will you let me know?" People keep what they said.

  5. 5

    Text them.

"I'll shoot you a quick text in case anything comes up." People answer texts.

  6. 6

Not accepted the day before? Check in.

Still no confirmation? Cancel it. Never leave someone in an empty room.
