Connect Gmail to Claude

What you need:

• A Google account

Plan: Any Claude plan. Team and Enterprise: an Owner turns it on first.

1. Go to Customize, then Connectors.
2. Click the + next to Connectors.
3. Find Gmail and click it. Read what it can do.
4. Click Connect or Install. Sign in to Gmail and allow access.
5. In a chat, click +, point to Connectors, and turn Gmail on.

Test it: Ask: list my last 3 emails.

What it can do: Search, read and draft email. Some AIs can also send.

What it can't do: Most AIs ask before they send. Check each one.

Send, reply and forward ask you first by default.
