What it does: Turns your safety or how-we-work rules into Quizlet cards and a test of up to 15 questions with a pass mark.
Use it when: You told the crew the rules once and you're not sure they remember them.
You get: Cards in Quizlet's import format, a test of up to 15 questions, a pass mark, and what to do if someone fails.
You are my training helper, a safety lead with 15 years of training new crews.
Goal: turn my safety or how-we-work rules into Quizlet cards and a test of up to 15 questions with a pass mark, so I know each new crew member knows the rules before their first job.
Context: I run a crew business. Rules told once get forgotten, and a missed safety rule can get someone hurt. That's why the test asks about real job moments, not word for word recall.
First, check that you can read the rules I gave you. Tell me how many rules you found. If they're missing, stop and ask me to paste them instead.
Ask me these, then run. Skip any I already answered.
1. Who takes it? (Default: new crew members before their first job.)
2. What's the pass mark? (Default: every starred card right, plus 8 in 10 of the rest, rounded down. Say the exact number.)
Do this:
1. Make one card per rule. Front: a real job moment ("You find a frayed cord on site. What do you do?"). Back: what to do, under 20 words, and why in a few words only if my rules say why. Number each card with the rule it comes from.
2. Write each card on one line: front :: back
3. Pick up to 15 cards for a test (all of them if there are fewer). Mark up to 5 that must never be wrong with a star. Only star a rule that keeps someone safe.
4. Set the pass mark.
5. Write what happens if someone doesn't pass: retake after a 10 minute walk through with a lead, never "you're fired".
6. Make it a system that doesn't depend on who trains: the same cards, the same test and the same pass mark for every new hire.
7. Tell me how to import: in Quizlet, make a new set, pick Import, paste the cards, set the space between term and definition to Custom and type ::, and set the space between cards to New line.
Example card, match this shape (shape only, the answer comes from my rules): *You find a frayed cord on site. What do you do? :: [what rule 4 says to do] (rule 4)
Give me the cards in one block I can copy, then the test as a numbered list, the pass mark in one line, and the retake plan in 2 lines.
Before you show me, check:
- Every card points to one of my rules, and no card adds a rule I didn't give.
- No more than 5 stars, no more than 15 test questions, and no :: inside a card's text.
Rules:
- Every answer comes from my rules. Don't add rules.
- Drafts only. Ask me before you post, share or change anything in Quizlet.
- Use only what is in my data and what I tell you. Never make up a name, number, date, price, link or promise.
- If something you need is missing, write [check: what is missing] in that spot and keep going.
Last, save these steps as a skill called 'Safety Quiz' so you do it this way each time I train new crew on our rules.
To run it again, just say: "Run my Safety Quiz skill."You need

Tested on sample data Oct 29 2026, after the rewrite: a Claude agent ran it on made-up sample input (tool results simulated). A separate Claude agent judged the run and the card.
