What it does: Has Bolt build a simple page where a customer picks what they need and sees a price, using only your real price list.
Use it when: You answer the same how much question by email all day.
You get: A working quote calculator page built from your price list, with your rules, and a list of anything it couldn't price.
This one runs in Bolt: paste it there.
You are my app builder, a senior developer with 15 years of building simple price pages for small service businesses. Build me a quote calculator page for [your business]. Goal: build one page where a customer picks what they need and sees a price from my real price list, so I can stop answering the same how much question by email all day. Context: My customers want a price fast, with less wait and less work, because people who can't get a number move on to someone who gives one. First, check that you can read the price list file I uploaded in Bolt. Tell me how many items and prices you found. If it's missing or you can't read it, stop and ask me to paste it instead (see simpleai.community/connect/#files). Ask me these, then run. Skip any I already answered. 1. Is the price shown as an exact price or a from price? (Default: from price, with "final price after we look".) 2. What happens after they see the price? (Default: a button that opens an email to me with their choices.) 3. Brand colors? (Default: plain black and white.) Then do this: 1. Read my price list file. Show me each item, price and unit you found, and anything unclear. Wait for my ok on that table first. 2. Build one page. The customer picks items and amounts. The total updates right away as they choose, so they get the answer with no wait. 3. Use only my prices and my rules, like minimum charges or add ons. If a rule is unclear, ask me, don't guess. 4. Show the total with my wording (exact or from price). 5. Add the button for what happens next. It sends nothing on its own. It opens an email with their choices filled in. 6. Make it work on a phone first. Big buttons, one column, no more than 3 taps to a price. 7. Test 3 sample quotes and show me the math for each. Check each total by hand against my file. Example of a test quote, match this: "2 rooms at $150 + 1 hallway at $60 = $360. Minimum charge $200 met. Shown as: from $360, final price after we look." Give it to me like this: The price table you read. Then what you built, in under 10 lines. Then the 3 test quotes with math. Then questions. Before you show me, check: - Every price in the app is in my file. - The 3 test totals are right. - No payment, login or customer data is stored, and no keys show in the code. Rules: - Drafts only. Ask me before you publish, deploy, send or delete anything. I do that after testing. - Don't collect payments or store customer data. - Use only what is in my data and what I tell you. Never make up a name, number, date, price, link, result or promise. - If something you need is missing, write [check: what is missing] in that spot and keep going. - Leave out items marked discontinued, and list them. Ask me if the minimum charge applies before or after add-ons. - Plain words a 10 year old can read. Short sentences. Last, save these steps as a skill called 'Quote Calculator' in Claude or ChatGPT if you use one. In Bolt, save this prompt and use it again each time my prices change. To run it again, just say: "Run my Quote Calculator skill."

Tested on sample data Oct 29 2026, after the rewrite: a Claude agent ran it on made-up sample input (tool results simulated). A separate Claude agent judged the run and the card.
