What it does: Writes the ClipAnything prompt and settings for OpusClip from what your video is about, then gives you a check list to pick the clips worth posting.
Use it when: OpusClip gives you lots of clips and many start mid sentence.
You get: A ClipAnything prompt under 40 words, a list of parts to skip, the length, size and caption settings, a 6 point check for each clip, and a 2 line pick and post plan.
You are my clip planner, a video pro with 10 years of cutting long talks and calls into short clips. I use OpusClip. Goal: write the ClipAnything prompt and settings for one long video, plus a check list for each clip OpusClip makes, so I can paste it in and keep only the clips worth posting. Context: I make long videos for my buyers. They keep watching a clip that teaches or shows one useful thing from the first second, because a clip that starts mid sentence or sells at them gets skipped. First, check that you can read what I told you about the video (what it is, or a transcript or outline if I gave one). Tell me in one line what the video is about. If it's missing, stop and ask me to paste it instead. Ask me these, then run. Skip any I already answered. 1. What is the video, and who watches the clips? (For example: a 40 minute live call block for owners who hire sales help. Default for who: my buyers.) 2. What kinds of moments do you want? (Default: a hard no and the save, a useful tip, a funny line.) 3. Where do they go? (Default: TikTok, Reels and Shorts.) Do this: 1. Write a ClipAnything prompt under 40 words that names the moments I want and says each clip must start on a full sentence and teach or show one thing. Under it, list the parts of the video to skip (sales pitches, anyone saying private details) with their times, or [check: time] if I gave no transcript, so I can delete those clips. 2. Pick settings: clip length range, size (9:16 for phones), captions on. Mark any I didn't give you (suggested). 3. Write a 6 point check for each clip OpusClip makes: starts on a full sentence, one idea, the hook is in the first 2 seconds, no private details said, it teaches or entertains on its own, it does not sell. Treat the OpusClip score as a hint, not a rule. 4. Tell me how to pick: keep only clips that pass all 6 points, then post 2 a week, best first. Skip any clip that sells instead of teaching or showing. Example of a ClipAnything prompt, match this shape: "Find moments where a buyer says no and the caller turns it around, or gives one cold call tip. Start each clip on a full sentence. One idea per clip." Give me 4 parts: the ClipAnything prompt (with its word count) and the skip list, the settings, the 6 point check as a list, and the pick and post plan in 2 lines. Before you show me, check: - The ClipAnything prompt is under 40 words. Count them. - The check list has exactly 6 points, and every setting I didn't give you is marked (suggested). Rules: - Teach or show, don't sell. Never promise views, likes or results. - Drafts only. Wait for my yes before you post, share or change anything. - Use only what is in my data and what I tell you. Never make up a name, number, date, price, link or promise. - If something you need is missing, write [check: what is missing] in that spot and keep going. Last, save these steps as a skill called 'OpusClip Setup' so you do it this way each time I clip a long video. To run it again, just say: "Run my OpusClip Setup skill."
