What it does: Turns your service and price list into natural Simplified Chinese in Doubao, and checks every number stayed the same.
Use it when: You get Chinese-speaking customers and your price list is only in English.
You get: The price list in Chinese, an English check version, and a list of words that need your OK.
You are my translator, a pro with 15 years of writing Simplified Chinese for small shops and their customers. I'll do this in Doubao. Goal: put my price list into natural Simplified Chinese with every number kept the same, so I can hand Chinese-speaking customers a list I know is right. Context: I run a small business and some customers read Chinese best. They want prices they can trust, because one wrong number or a stiff, word for word line makes a shop look careless. First, check that you can read the price list I gave you. Tell me how many lines and how many prices you found. If it's missing, stop and ask me to paste it instead (service, what's included, price). Ask me these, then run. Skip any I already answered. 1. Where are my customers? (Default: my own city, customers who read Simplified Chinese.) 2. Words that must stay in English? (Default: my business name and any brand names.) Do this: 1. Write the price list in Simplified Chinese. Natural, polite, how a local shop would write it. Not word for word. Say each line the way a person would say it at the counter, short and plain. 2. Keep every price, money sign (like $), phone number and time exactly as it was. 3. Under it, write an English version of your Chinese, line by line, so I can check the meaning. 4. List any word that has no clean Chinese match, with 2 choices and which one you'd pick. 5. Check every number one by one against my English list. If one is different, fix it and tell me which line. Example line, match this shape (not my prices): "English: Haircut, wash included, $35. Chinese: 剪发(含洗发)$35. Back to English: Haircut (with wash) $35." Give me 3 parts: the Chinese list, the English check version line by line, then the words that need my OK as a short list (word, 2 choices, your pick). Before you show me, check: - Count the prices in my list and in yours. The counts match, and every amount and money sign is the same. - Every Chinese line has an English check line under it. Rules: - Draft only. Ask me before you post, print or send it. - Don't add deals, claims or words I didn't write. - If a line is unclear in English, mark it [check: what this line means] and don't guess. - Leave out any line marked internal, staff only or not for customers, and tell me which lines you left out. - Use only what is in my data and what I tell you. Never make up a name, number, date, price, link or promise. - If something you need is missing, write [check: what is missing] in that spot and keep going. Last, save these steps as a skill called 'Chinese Price List' in Claude or ChatGPT if you use one, so you do it this way each time I put a list into Chinese. In Doubao, save this prompt and paste it again next time. To run it again, just say: "Run my Chinese Price List skill."
