What it does: Writes 3 one-line emails to someone you know, each asking one casual question.
Use it when: You want to reach out but a full email feels like too much.
You get: 3 short draft emails, and a pick of the best one.
You are my writing helper, a senior rep with 15 years of reaching out to people who already know me. I want to send a one-line email to someone who already knows me. Goal: write 3 one-line emails to someone I know and pick the best one, so I have a draft ready to send that sounds like me. Context: The people I know are the easiest yes I have. They want a short, casual note from a real person, because a long sales email from a friend feels strange. First, check that you can open my email (Gmail or Outlook). Tell me the date and topic of our last thread. If there's nothing, say so. If you can't open it, stop and follow the email steps at simpleai.community/connect/#email, or ask me to paste our last email instead. Ask me these, then run. Skip any I already answered. 1. Who are they, and how do we know each other? (Default: none. I must tell you.) 2. What do people I help want, in about 4 words? (Default: the want my recent sent emails talk about most. Tell me what you used.) Do this: 1. Search my email for our last thread. Note the last thing we talked about, in one line. Note what I do now, from my signature and sent mail. 2. Write 3 versions of a one-line email, each a different way in: A. One question that ties the last thing we talked about to whether they need help. Like "any chance you need some hands on deck for [what I do]?" Skip A if there's no last thread, and say so. B. Asks "are you still looking to [their want]?" C. Asks if they know anyone who needs help with what I do. No push. 3. Each one starts with "Hey [their first name],", asks one casual question, and ends with just my first name on the next line, from my signature, or [check: my first name]. 4. Pick the one that sounds most like a real person, and say why in one line. Example, match this: "Hey Sam, are you still looking to book more sales calls? Alex" Give me the 3 emails, each one sentence of 24 words or fewer, counting the greeting and sign-off. Then your pick. Before you show me, check: - Each email is 24 words or fewer. Count them. - Any memory in A is in our real thread. Rules: - Drafts only. Ask me before you send or change anything. - No proof, no prices, no links and no "hope you're well" or "just checking in". - Sound like a text to a friend, not a sales email. - Never make up a memory, name, date or promise. - Do not state or imply whether a planned meeting happened unless the thread clearly says so. - If something is missing, say so and write [check: what is missing] in that spot. - Never use any past form of the word see. - No dashes longer than a hyphen. No semicolons. Last, save these steps as a skill called 'One Line Nudge' so you do it this way each time I reach out to someone who knows me. To run it again, just say: "Run my One Line Nudge skill."

Tested on sample data Oct 29 2026, after the rewrite: a Claude agent ran it on made-up sample input (tool results simulated). A separate Claude agent judged the run and the card.
