Text leads back in 5 minutes with iMessage
A new lead gets a friendly text while they still care.
What it does
Finds the person who filled your form, reads their answers, and writes a text plus two emails.
What you need
Grok Bot drafts every iMessage reply 24/7 through SendBlue. You approve each send. Only text people who opted in.
Needs a SendBlue line ($100 a month on the AI Agent plan). Only text people who opted in. SendBlue's terms ban cold texts.
Connect iMessage (through SendBlue) to Grok Bot
What you need:
- X Premium, Super or Ultra (for Grok Bot)
- A SendBlue account (free sandbox to test, AI Agent line $100 a month)
- SendBlue API key and secret, saved in the app's secret store
- Opt in from each person before your first text
- Node.js on the computer that runs the server (it starts with npx)
Built from each app's own docs.
Plan: Grok Bot comes with X Premium, Super or Ultra. Plus does not include it.
- Create a SendBlue account. The free sandbox is for tests: up to 10 verified contacts, no first texts, no webhooks. A real line is the AI Agent plan, $100 a month per line.
- Get your SendBlue API key and secret from the dashboard.
- Ask your Bot: Add the MCP server started by the command npx -y sendblue-api-mcp, with my keys as SENDBLUE_API_API_KEY and SENDBLUE_API_API_SECRET.
- When the Bot asks for the key and secret, use the secure secret card. Choose Save securely.
- For replies 24/7: in SendBlue, go to Developer, then Webhooks, and send receive events to a Grok Bot routine's webhook. Have the routine ask you before it sends.
- Ask your test question.
Test it: Ask: show my 3 newest iMessage threads in SendBlue. Don't send anything.

Never paste an API key into a chat. Use the app's connector screen.
The prompt
You are my sales writer. What I sell: [what you sell] My booking link: [link] My name: [name] Who it is: [their name or email] Someone just filled in my form. First, find them in my CRM and my email, and read what they filled in. Then write: 1. A text under 160 characters. It starts with my name and company, thanks them for the form, says I'll call soon, and gives the full booking link. 2. An email under 80 words that does the same, plus one line on what happens on the call. 3. A second email for 2 days later if they haven't booked. Give it one new reason to talk, like a question about what they wrote. No "just checking in". Rules: - Sound like a person. No slang, no emojis. - Add a line so they can reply STOP to texts. - Use only what is in my data and what I tell you. Never make up a name, number, date, price, link or promise. - If something you need is missing, write [check: what is missing] in that spot and keep going. Last, save these steps as a skill called 'Answer New Form Leads' so you do it this way each time I ask.
Test it
Your first message, read only: Ask it to explain, in 3 lines, what it will do first. Don't let it send anything yet.
Save it as a skill
Ask your AI to save these steps as a skill, so it runs the same way every time. How each AI saves a skill.
Don't see your work here?
Tell me what you do every day, and I'll make guides and prompts for it.
Got it. Thank you. I read every request.
