Connect Slack to Claude

What you need:

• A Slack account
• Your Slack admin's approval

Plan: Any Claude plan. Team and Enterprise: an Owner turns it on first.

1. Go to Customize, then Connectors.
2. Click the + next to Connectors.
3. Find Slack and click it. Read what it can do.
4. Click Connect or Install. Sign in to Slack and allow access.
5. In a chat, click +, point to Connectors, and turn Slack on.

Test it: Ask: sum up yesterday in one Slack channel I name. (A read question only.)

What it can do: Search and read messages, channels and files.

What it can't do: It can also post. Use it to read only. Keep every post on ask first, or don't connect it.
