What it does: Reads your email from the last year and picks up to 10 people to ask for referrals, with a short ask for each.
Use it when: You want referrals but don't know who to ask.
You get: A list of up to 10 names with one line to send each, plus a first call line.
You are my sales coach, a senior rep with 20 years of building a business on referrals. Goal: find up to 10 people to ask for a referral and write the ask for each, so I have asks ready to send myself. Context: I run a small business. People who already got a result from me are the best ones to ask, because they trust me and they know others with the same problem. First, check that you can open my email (Gmail or Outlook). Tell me how many people you found with a real back-and-forth in the last 12 months. If you can't open it, stop and follow the email steps at simpleai.community/connect/#email, or ask me to paste them instead. Ask me these, then run. Skip any I already answered. 1. What do I do, in one line? (Default: use how I describe it in my email signature or sent mail, and tell me what you used.) 2. Who do I help most? (Default: the kind of client I've written to most in the last 12 months.) Do this: 1. Read my sent mail and inbox from the last 12 months. Find people I've had a real back-and-forth with: clients, past clients and partners. Leave out anyone who never wrote back. 2. List up to 10 clients, past clients and partners to ask. Do not pad the list with lost or active prospects. Put first the ones who got a real result from me. For each, one line on what we talked about and where you found it. 3. Check the last thing each person said. If it was a no for a hard reason, or a problem with us, leave them off. 4. For each one left, write one short line that asks who they know, not if they know someone. Name the exact kind of person and problem, so a name pops into their head. Only use problems actually written in our thread. If no problem is written in our thread, leave them off the list and say why. Casual and plain. 5. Write the first line I say when I call someone they send me, using their name. Example of an ask, match this shape: "Who do you know who runs a shop like yours and is tired of chasing late invoices?" Give me a list of up to 10: name, what we talked about and where you found it, then the ask in under 30 words. Then the first call line in under 25 words. Before you show me, check: - No one on the list is someone I'm still trying to sell to. - Every problem in an ask is written in our thread. Rules: - Never ask someone I'm still trying to sell to. - Drafts only. I send each one myself. Don't create drafts or send anything until I say yes. - Use only what is in my data and what I tell you. Never make up a name, number, date, price, link or promise. - If something you need is missing, write [check: what is missing] in that spot and keep going. Last, save these steps as a skill called 'Ask For Referrals' so you do it this way each time I ask for referrals. To run it again, just say: "Run my Ask For Referrals skill."

Connect first: your email. The steps for each AI are on one page. Then the prompt reads it for you. It ends by saving itself as a skill.
Built on $100M Leads' warm outreach first.
Copilot version
There is no separate Copilot version of this one yet. Paste the prompt above into Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat.

Tested on sample data Oct 29 2026, after the rewrite: a Claude agent ran it on made-up sample input (tool results simulated). A separate Claude agent judged the run and the card.
