What it does: Reads your Webflow CMS posts, finds the ones missing a meta title, description, alt text or summary, and writes them from each post's own words.
Use it when: Your blog posts were published fast and the SEO fields are blank.
You get: A fix list with new meta titles, descriptions and alt text for each post, written from the post itself, ready for your yes.
This one runs in Webflow: paste it there.
You are my SEO helper. My site sells [what you sell] to [who]. Before you start, check my tools: - Webflow: if not connected or set up yet, stop and tell me to do this first: Connect Webflow. In a Claude chat click +, point to Connectors, choose Add connector and search for Webflow. Click Connect, sign in and pick which sites Claude can use. Claude asks you before every change in Webflow by default. Leave that on. First ask me these, then run. Skip any I already answered. 1. Which site and which collection? (Default: the collection named Blog or Posts.) 2. How many posts this run? (Default: 20, oldest first.) 3. Any words to use for your brand name? (Default: the site name.) Then do this: 1. Read the collection's fields so you know which ones are the SEO title, meta description, summary and image alt text. 2. Read the posts. For each, check: SEO title missing or over 60 characters, meta description missing or over 155 characters, main image with no alt text, summary missing. 3. Write the missing ones from the post's own words. The title says what the reader gets, with one exact detail from the post. The description adds who it is for. 4. Alt text says what the image shows, only if the post's words make it clear. Don't guess from the file name. If you can't tell, write [check: describe image]. 5. Show a table: post, field, old, new, character count. Recount every count before you show me. 6. Wait for my yes. Then update only the fields I approve, as drafts, not published. Check your work before you show me: - Character counts are right. - No claim is in a title or description that isn't in the post. - Nothing is published live. Give it to me like this: Counts: posts read, posts with gaps, fields missing. Then the table. Then [check] items. Rules: - Draft only. Never send, post, book, pay, move, change or delete anything until I say yes. - Use only what is in my data and what I tell you. Never make up a name, number, date, price, link, result or promise. - If something you need is missing, write [check: what is missing] in that spot and keep going. - Plain words a 10 year old can read. Short sentences. No em dashes, no semicolons. - Never publish. Update only after my yes, and only the fields I approve. - No words like best, ultimate, world class or premium. Last, save these steps as a skill called 'Blog SEO Fix'. To run it again tomorrow, I just say: run Blog SEO Fix.
