Connect Outlook to Gemini

What you need:

• Gemini CLI
• A Unipile account (paid, from 49 EUR a month, 7 day free trial)
• Your account linked in Unipile
• A scoped Unipile API key, saved in the app's secret store or connector screen

Plan: Gemini CLI on your computer.

1. Create a Unipile account. It is paid, from 49 EUR a month for up to 10 accounts, with a 7 day free trial.
2. Connect your Outlook account in Unipile.
3. Make a scoped API key in Unipile.
4. In ~/.gemini/settings.json, add a server with "httpUrl": "https://developer.unipile.com/mcp?branch=v2.0" and a header X-API-KEY set to your key. The key goes in this file, never in a chat.
5. Start Gemini CLI and run /mcp to check it.

Test it: Ask: list my last 3 emails in Outlook.

What it can do: Read and search your mail and calendar.

What it can't do: Each AI limits what it can change. See the notes.

The Gemini app has no Outlook connector. Unipile's server covers Outlook mail and calendar, and Unipile documents Gemini CLI.
