Connect Close to Gemini

What you need:

Built from each app's own docs.

Plan: A personal Google account, age 18 or up, in the US, in English. Keep Activity on. Web only to set up.

Go to gemini.google.com. At the bottom, click Settings, then Connected Apps.
Under Custom apps, click Add a custom app.
Enter https://mcp.close.com/mcp
Click Next and follow the steps on the screen. If it asks, sign in and allow access.
In a chat, type @ and pick Close.

Test it: Ask: show my 3 newest leads in Close.

What it can do: Read leads, contacts, deals and calls. You pick the level when you sign in: read only, safe writes, or full writes.

What it can't do: Read only can't make or change anything. Safe writes can't edit old fields or delete.

Close's server signs you in with OAuth that registers itself, which Gemini's custom apps take.
