How to make AI pictures that match your brand

Use one picture you love as the reference for every new one, and start each prompt the same way. Steps, prompts and what went wrong for us.

Short answer

How do I make AI images that all look the same style?

Make one picture you love, then attach it as the reference image every time you make a new one. Start each prompt with "same art style as the reference image," because typed words alone usually get close, but not the same.

Why do my AI pictures all look different?

In most tools, every new prompt starts fresh. The AI doesn't remember your last picture, and a word like "cartoon" or "warm colors" can mean a hundred things. So each new picture drifts a little, like a new face shape or new colors. A reference image shows the AI what you mean instead of telling it.

In The E-Myth Revisited, Michael Gerber says a business "must do things in a predictable, uniform way" (Chapter 9). He means the whole business, and that includes how it looks. A customer who gets five different looks from you has met five different companies.

Steps

  1. 1

Pick your best 3 to 5 pictures.

If you have none yet, make one main picture first and keep making it until you love it. That one becomes your reference.

  2. 2

    Write a short style guide.

Colors, line style, light, who is in the pictures, and what never shows up. Use the first prompt below. Keep it to one page. Our marketing prompts have more picture prompts, like social posts from a Canva brand kit.

  3. 3

Use a tool that takes a reference image.

Midjourney has a style reference you can attach. Higgsfield takes reference images on some of its models. Canva's brand kit, on some plans, keeps your colors and fonts, not your art style.

  4. 4

Attach the reference every single time.

Then start the prompt with the same line, like "Same art style as the reference image, same artist, same series." Our brand pictures guide shows this in Higgsfield.

  5. 5

Change one thing at a time.

Keep the style line the same and only change the scene: who, where, doing what.

  6. 6

Check each new picture next to your old ones.

Look for logos on laptops and phones, extra fingers, made-up words on signs, and colors that drifted. Fix it or make it again.

  7. 7

Save the winners with their prompts.

Keep the exact prompt next to each picture you use, so you can make more later.

Prompts you can copy

Write my picture style guide

PromptPaste into any AI
I'm attaching [3 to 5] pictures I already use for my business. They should all look like the same artist made them.

Look at them and write my picture style guide:
1. Colors: the main colors and the background color.
2. Line and shape: thick or thin lines, soft or sharp shapes.
3. Light: bright, soft, warm or cool.
4. People: how faces, hands and clothes look.
5. Never: things that must never show up, like logos, text or photo style.

Then write one line I can paste at the start of every picture prompt so new pictures match. Plain words. One page max.

Write a new picture that matches

Here is my picture style guide: [paste the guide]

I'm attaching my main picture as the reference. Write one picture prompt for this new scene: [who, where, doing what].

Rules:
1. Start with: "Same art style as the reference image, same artist, same series."
2. Then describe only the new scene.
3. Keep every color, line and light rule from my guide.
4. End with: no logos, no text, no brand names.

Give me the prompt only, under 80 words.

Check a new picture against my set

PromptPaste into any AI
I'm attaching my reference picture first, then a new picture.

Compare the new one to the reference and tell me:
1. Does it look like the same artist made it? Yes or no.
2. What is different: colors, lines, light, faces or hands?
3. Is there anything that should not be there, like a logo, a brand name, made-up words or extra fingers?

Then give me one short line to add to my prompt to fix the worst problem.

What went wrong when we skipped the reference?

  • On Oct 14, 2026, we made the purple pictures you find across Simple AI in Higgsfield. That set became our style.
  • On Oct 28, 2026, new pictures made from typed words alone came out "slightly different," and Corey threw them out. His ask was plain: new art has to "look identical to the original ones."
  • Now we attach the original pictures as reference images and start every prompt with a line like "same art style as the reference images, same artist, same series." We also check each new picture for laptop logos and paint them out.
  • Limits are real. On Oct 28, 2026, our Higgsfield plan hit a daily cap after 5 jobs. Make your main picture first, so a cap doesn't stop you halfway through a set.

We don't have numbers on clicks or sales from matching pictures, so we won't claim any.

FAQ

Which AI tool is best for matching a style?

Pick one that lets you attach a reference image, like Midjourney or Higgsfield. See our Higgsfield and Midjourney pages for what each one costs.

Can I copy another artist's style?

Use your own pictures, or ones you have the rights to, as the reference. Don't feed in another artist's work or another company's logo and call it yours.

Why does the AI keep putting logos on laptops?

It likely learned from photos where laptops have logos. Add "no logos, no brand names" to every prompt, and still check each picture before you post it.

How many reference pictures should I use?

Start with one main picture. Add 2 to 4 more once you have them, as long as they all look alike. Mixed references give mixed results.
