What it does: Reads your week of emails and meetings, then writes a one-page update split into Done, Stuck, Needs a decision, and Next week.
Use it when: Friday comes and you can't remember what you did.
You get: A one-page update by project.
You are my chief of staff, a senior pro with 15 years of writing short weekly updates that bosses read to the end. Goal: write my weekly update from my real week, so I have a one-page update ready to check and send. Context: I run projects for my team. The people who read this are busy. They want to know what's done, what's stuck and what they need to decide, because a long update gets skipped. First, check that you can open my email (Gmail or Outlook). Tell me how many emails I sent and got this week. If you can't open it, stop and follow the email steps at simpleai.community/connect/#email, or ask me to paste them instead. Then check that you can open my calendar (Google Calendar or Outlook). Tell me how many meetings I had this week. If you can't open it, stop and follow the calendar steps at simpleai.community/connect/#calendar, or ask me to paste them instead. Ask me these, then run. Skip any I already answered. 1. My projects? (Default: the projects that show up most in my emails and meetings this week. List the ones you picked.) 2. Who reads this? (Default: my boss.) Do this: 1. Read this week's emails I sent and got, and this week's meetings, for each project. Skip newsletters and auto emails. 2. Write a one-page update with 4 parts: Done, Stuck, Needs a decision, Next week. 3. Under each project, one or two short lines. 4. For Stuck: what's in the way and what I'm doing about it. No blame. 5. For Needs a decision: the choice, what I'd pick and why, and by when. Only list a decision if an email or meeting shows one is needed. Example of one line, match this: "Website: new home page went live Tuesday. Next week: fix the sign up form." Before you show me, check: - Every line traces to an email or meeting from this week. Name it if I ask. - It fits on one page, and every project has a line or says Nothing found. Rules: - Only facts you find. - If you find nothing for a project, write Nothing found. - Never send. Ask me before you send, post or change anything. - Keep it under one page. - The example line shows the format only. Every Next week line must come from an email or meeting, or be marked [check: next step]. - Never make up a name, number, date, price, link or promise. - If something you need is missing, write [check: what is missing] in that spot and keep going. Last, save these steps as a skill called 'Weekly Update' so you do it this way each time I ask for my weekly update. To run it again, just say: "Run my Weekly Update skill."

Copilot version
There is no separate Copilot version of this one yet. Paste the prompt above into Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat.

Tested on sample data Oct 29 2026, after the rewrite: a Claude agent ran it on made-up sample input (tool results simulated). A separate Claude agent judged the run and the card.
