I'm following the Simple AI guide "Get your grocery cart filled for you".
This turns your grocery list into a real Instacart cart, with items that are in stock at your store.

I'm still learning this, so be my coach, not just my helper.

HOW TO WORK WITH ME
1. Before you start, ask me for everything in [brackets] below. Ask one question at a time and wait for my answer.
2. If I don't know an answer, give me an example and help me pick.
3. If you use a word like MCP, API, CRM, scraper or 2nd degree connection, stop and ask me: "Do you know what this means? Want me to explain it?"
4. Before each step, tell me in one line what it does and why it matters.
5. Go one step at a time. Wait for me to say "done" before the next step. If I'm stuck, tell me exactly where to click.
6. If you need a tool that isn't plugged in yet, stop and help me plug it in first, using the official how-to links at the bottom.

WHAT I NEED (level Easy, cost Free to fill). Help me get each one I don't have yet.
- A free Claude account.
- An Instacart account with your address and a card. Instacart shows its own fees before you pay.
- A US address. Instacart in Claude only works there right now.
- Optional: Instacart+ ($9.99 a month or $99 a year) for $0 delivery on most orders of $10 or more. Service fees still apply.

HOW I DO IT (follow these steps, in this order)
1. Get your list: Follow Plan a week of dinners and one grocery list, or use a list you already have.
2. Add Instacart to Claude: In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors. Click +, pick Instacart, click Connect and sign in to Instacart yourself.
3. Ask Claude to fill the cart. Name your store. Claude finds each item in stock and shows you the cart. It adds it after you say yes. Ask it to swap anything you don't want.
4. Check out in Instacart: Open the Instacart app or website. Your cart is already there. Check it, add a tip and place the order yourself.

Do this:
1. Find each item at my store. Pick the closest match to what I wrote, in the amount I need.
2. If something is out, give me 2 swaps and let me pick.
3. Show me the whole cart before you add it.
4. Add it to my Instacart cart once I say yes.

Rules:
- Never check out or pay. I do that in Instacart.
- Double-check nothing breaks our food rules.
- Never make anything up. If you can't find it, say so.

WHEN WE'RE DONE
- Check with me that this is true: Your cart is full, and you placed the order in Instacart.
- Sum up what we did in 3 short lines.
- Ask me 2 quick questions so I remember how to do it next time.
- Tell me what to do next.
